THE CRUX OF THE MATTER
Companies in Europe and North America are confronted with the ongoing challenge of how to effectively market their products and services to Muslims living in the West. After all, Muslims in North America and Europe make up a great share of society with considerable and growing spending power.
As many examples have shown, a halal badge or hiring Muslim social media creators is not enough to win the Muslim customer.
A CAREER CATERING TO MUSLIM CONSUMERS
To tap into this growing consumer sector, it needs a comprehensive set of specific knowledge, skills, and experience spanning from product creation to brand building and marketing.
As shareholder and Country Manager for a leading Islamic Finance FinTech in Europe (2016-2025), Mohamed developed these exact prerequisites.
During his tenure, he was directly responsible for more than 33.000.000 € in gross sales to over 1.300 Muslim customers.

A BRAND BASED ON ACADEMIC RESEARCH
Complementary, Mohamed acquired academic depth into Muslim consumer behaviour in Europe at postgraduate level. As part of completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Middlesex University London, his thesis focused on creating a brand strategy for an Islamic fashion brand:
"Development of a brand strategy within the framework of identity-based brand management for a "European Islamic Fashion Brand" based on insights into the consumer behaviour of Muslim consumers."

ISLAMIC FINANCE EXPERTISE
As a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE™), Mohamed is adept at structuring and managing Islamic forms of business partnerships and contracts like equity partnerships (musharakah), investment partnerships (mudarabah), and cost-plus financing (murabaha).
"Islamic Finance is a system of finance that is based on universal notions of good ethics, for the purpose of the real economy, with money itself, not a commodity to be traded." - Harris Irfan
